Tiny Home Design

The city of Edmonton hasn't fully adapted to want for minimalist living. These tiny homes are not easily placed within the city of Edmonton as a primary home, however, are becoming more and more popular with the young professional, or the retired empty nesters.

Many Edmontonians are placing these tiny homes in their backyards in place of a garden suite.

A stand-alone detached garage can be built in either new or existing constriction areas with lane access.

Suite Design

// Garden Suite means an Accessory building containing a Dwelling which is located separate from the principal Use which is Single Detached Housing, Semi-detached Housing, or Multi-unit Housing in the form of row housing. //

Garden or Garage suites are becoming a very popular choice. The suites above a garage or a stand-alone "lane home" are allowing people to have an income suite - but not have to share any of the amenities of their home such as your backyard, your laundry room, and your shared floors/ walls.

Suite Design

 // A Secondary Suite has cooking facilities, food preparation, sleeping, and sanitary facilities which are physically separate from those of the principal Dwelling within the structure. A Secondary Suite also has an entrance separate from the entrance to the principal Dwelling, either from a common indoor landing or directly from outside the structure. //

Basement suites are the most popular and longest-standing form of income property. These suites are fully self-sufficient with their own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom(s).
